Sub : Academic Courses – Affiliated Institutions – UG and PG Degree programmes – Extension of Maximum period for completion of the arrear subjects – Notification – Reg.

Several B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. / M.E. / M.Tech. / M.C.A. / M.B.A. / M.Sc. students from Affiliated Institutions admitted during the academic years 2001 – 2002, 2002 – 2003 and B.E. / B.Tech (Part-Time) students admitted during 2002-2003 & 2003-2004 and students of B.E. / B.Tech. Degree programmes admitted under lateral entry scheme during the academic years 2002 – 2003 and 2003 – 2004 have represented that they were not able to complete the arrear subjects within the stipulated maximum period including the special relaxation granted to 2001-2002 students.
Now, based on the representations special permission is now granted for extension of time beyond the maximum permitted period to complete the arrear subjects within 2 chances i.e. during November / December 2009 session and April / May 2010 session to the following three categories of students.
(i). The students who were admitted to B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. / M.E. / M.Tech. / M.C.A. / M.B.A. / M.Sc. Degree programmes during the academic years 2001 – 2002 and 2002 – 2003 are yet to complete the arrear subjects.
(ii). The students who were admitted to B.E. / B.Tech. Degree programmes under Lateral Entry scheme during the academic year 2002 – 2003 and 2003 – 2004 are yet to complete the arrear subjects within the stipulated maximum period.
(iii). The students who were admitted to B.E. / B.Tech. (Part-Time) in the year 2002 – 2003 and 2003 – 2004 are yet to complete the arrear subjects within the stipulated maximum period.
